About Wedgwood
Wedgwood Subdivision is located in unincorporated St. Louis County, near New Halls Ferry Road and North Lindbergh Boulevard in suburban St. Louis County, Missouri. The subdivision is adjacent to, but not a part of, the City of Florissant, Missouri. Wedgwood is an exceptionally large community comprised of 1,206 single family homes. Construction began in the fall of 1963 and was completed in May of 1967. (See more history here.)
Wedgwood was built in 13 sections or ‘plats’ that stretch across both the east and west sides of New Halls Ferry Road. There is also a large park used by the residents of the subdivision. Wedgwood Park is located on the far east side of the subdivision, at the intersection of New Castle Drive and Churchill Drive.
