This committee works on revamping all the common areas within the subdivision. This includes the entrances and all satellite parks. Committee members work together closely to create a logical plan as to how to address the existing landscaping and potential for lighting and water access at all entrances and satellite parks. This committee works with the current Parks/Beautification chairperson to define a plan that best satisfies the needs and wants of the subdivision.

The Special Events team plans subdivision-wide activities for all residents, including the Easter Egg Hunt, Halloween Trunk or Treat, annual Garage Sale, and others. Many activities are co-sponsored by The Lutheran Church of the Living Christ, located adjacent to Wedgwood Subdivision.
The Welcome Committee is a sub-committee of Special Events. This committee serves as the face of the subdivision, greeting new residents and providing them with vital information related to HOA meetings, subdivision activities, the subdivision website, Facebook page, and newsletters, as well as subdivision rules and guidelines.

This committee works on planning maintenance and improvement of Wedgwood Park, with focus on the construction of pavilions, installation of new playground equipment, installation of new park benches, and leveling some of the grounds. This committee works with the current Parks/Beautification chairperson to devise a plan that reflects the needs and wants of the subdivision residents.

Members of this committee are charged with developing processes to address property preservation violations. They set criteria for identifying and reporting such properties and incorporate the standards into existing subdivision bylaws. The responsibilities of this committee are 1) identify properties that are in violation of Wedgwood bylaws and St. Louis County Ordinances, and 2) follow up with the offending property owner to determine the basis for the violation. If the property owner needs assistance, the HOA will provide a recommendation; if the owner is in violation and refuses to comply, they will be cited accordingly. The processes for these situations are defined and put in place by the committee.

Members of this committee work closely with the St. Louis County Parks Department to help build a street lighting plan for our subdivision. This is a long-term project, due to the size of the subdivision. Volunteers for this committee should have a good understanding of the current and most critical lighting needs within all 13 plats of the subdivision, allowing them to prioritize installations accordingly.
