Spring Community Information Meeting

Thursday, May 28th

Who should attend?  

  • HOA subdivision trustee directors, area leaders, those who may be interested in serving their respective subdivisions

  • Residents throughout St. Louis County and beyond are welcome and encouraged to attend.

  • Although the primary purpose of this meeting is to provide information, resources, guidance and training for subdivision trustee directors, anyone interested in the maintenance, stabilization and preservation of their respective subdivisions is encouraged to attend.

Guest speakers are Carrie Timko and Katie Gundersen, attorneys with the Sandberg Phoenix law firm who specialize in homeowners’ association (HOA) law.

The meeting will include the following presentations and the opportunity for your questions:

  • Danielle Spradley, Regional Policy Strategist with the Office of the County Executive, will speak about the Save Lives Now! St. Louis County Violence Reduction Initiative and the Radiation Exposure Compensation Act (RECA).

  • Stephanie Micheal, Vice Chair of the PSC will present information about the St. Louis County Senior Property Tax Freeze.

  • The guest speakers will present information on HOA governance, incorporation, amendments, and collections. 

There will also be information about where and how to access St. Louis County resources online for trustee directors, as well as information about private police patrols, the Flock Safety camera program, the absentee property owner problem, especially with out-of-state LLC’s, and any other subjects that may arise.

Based on their availability, several St. Louis County officials will be present to answer questions during the public forum segment of the meeting.  They include representatives from:

  • Public Works

  • Transportation

  • Health

  • Planning

  • Police

  • Animal Control

  • Community Engagement Unit (formerly Problem Properties).  These are the “boots on the ground” people - not your elected officials.

The North St. Louis County Problem Solving Committee looks forward to seeing everyone who can attend.
